clutch install

RE: clutch install
I'll probably get laughed at for saying this, but if you're doing it alone, try to borrow a tranny jack from someplace. I agree that the T-5 is a tinkertoy light transmission, but not when its on top of your head and you're trying to get the input shaft back in the pilot bushing and things aren't going as planned.
I've done it both ways in 3 different T-5 cars, the jack is better.

RE: clutch install
That cartech link is pretty good and what I am using right now to follow along with. My tranny is out and just got the flywheel back from being resurfaced and getting ready for the reinstall this weekend. I'm also going at this alone and for the first time so you are not alone huntsman [8D]
The only thing I need is a good picture or a link to one of how the throw-out bearing should be sitting in the clutch-fork (yes I failed to look at it good or take a picture [sm=headbang.gif])....anyone?
Nevermind...found another "how-to" with a good picture of both sides of the clutchfork with TO bearing properly installed. Also has a good picture of a little trick to keep the flywheel from turning while torqing down the 6 bolts
