Default Vac Advance

For those who still have one where do you run your vac advance line to your distributer? I have heard to use the timed port on the carb and I have heard to not do that. I have a Edelbrock 600 elec choke. Should I use the carb port or run off of the manifold with the rest of my vac lines????

Got it, read it, have the calibration kit and extra jets and rods. Thanks though. I just wanted to see what others thought because I have heard different things.
