i have 2 blocks in my garage they are both 302 and one is a xxx block and one is a yyy block whats the diff

you need to pull the casting numbers off the block by where the starter would mount...but based on the xxx in the lifter valley.. I'd say one is a roller block maybe....but need casting numbers!! to verify year and what it's out of
