No you don't have to touch the exhaust. The driveshaft goes right inbetween the exhaust. Takes like 5 minutes to swap.

as long as you got a 12mm wrench and a strong arm your fine. Impact gun makes it easier tho...

As stated, it's a straight forward install.

well for one before flushing good money down the toilet....if you have a vibration at highway speeds..I'd check the run out on your rims and tires for any irregularities.,.then balance if necessary..and before spending money on a driveshaft ..check any u-joints when you pull it down for binding, loosness or roughness.......and check the tailshaft bushing for wear

its only when im on the pedal once i get off the shaking continues for a second then ceases, and once i get back on the pedal it continues, so im ruleing out most of hte things and it seem sto be pointing me to the D/S which i was gonna change any way

BTW the bolts on the D/S connecting to the rearend, i dun really have to worry bout them snapping do i?

check the U joints before installing the driveshaft. the reason yours is prolly vibrating is the U joints being shot. the driveshaft itself is pretty sturdy. aluminum ftw
