Does anyone's E7 headed 5.0 spin to 6200 at all? I've badly missed shifts and severely lost traction more than a couple times and never bounced off the limiter, or even seen the tach get close to that high.
yea, when i light em up i only hit about 56-5800 rpm's..i havent realyl wound it out to 6200 yet, and yea ur car has the 8.8 with 3:08's thats what i have in mine, my first gears goes to liek 40 mph..lol but id drop some 355 or 373's in there and beef up the 8.8 a little bit if you want, i belive it is a very strong rear end, and the 5.0 we have is a pushrod motor..good luck man, let me know what you do with your car, i will prohbably follow along wiht the mods as well, let me knwo what works..

i will be moding the car only if its extremely cheap. things like reducing weight, bumping timing and learning to drive it will be all for now. is there a throttle body coolant bypass for these motors? also the car has headers and a off road h pipe with stock mufflers. im going to unbolt the mufflers because i think they will be restrictive and should sound better.
