Default 94GT 5 Speed in a Fox

I know the tailshaft is longer than a fox T5 (7.18in)but if the 94 (7.85)driveshaft was used do you guys think I would be able to use it? Or are the driveshafts the same length on both Fox's and SN's?

fox and SN use the same driveshaft. The tailshaft is NOT longer... the INPUT shaft is longer. You can use a SN trans if you use the SN bell housing... but you might need to modify your crossmember to fit propery.

or you could justswap the input shaft from a fox tranny, into your SN tranny, and use a fox bellhousing.

either way will work

Thanks, modifying the crossmember is no big deal. Is there any thing else with the 94 bell that is different from a fox's?

Which is the reason for the longer input shaft. But other than that they are the same? Release fork's are the same? Throw out bearings? Clutch cable length (adjustable cable should work if not, right)?

Ok, thanks guys. I guess I will have to sit and play and experiment with the 2 parts and see what works and what doesn't.
