Default RE: overheating issue, but why?

actually the waterpump pulley does get replaced... i believe the water pump pulley is larger. the crank pulley is smaller. small to big means it spins the pump slower.
How would i be able to tell if the fan clutch is shot? just let the car heat up and open to hood to see if the fan is spinning?

does your fan draw enough airflow over the radiator at idle?
if not , get an electric or aftermarket
