Default intake swap, questions

ive got a 95 gt mustang, wanting to swap to a typhoon intake, but i dont want to spend the extra money on the elbow extension thats required, is there a way i can do this without that elbow? whats different about the 94-95 mustangs than the older 5.0's ? and if anyone could inform me of what all needs to be done for a intake swap step by step that would be great!, im wanting to do in my driveway on some nice afternoon, thanks for any info!!

you could convert to the fox body style but it will cost ya more then the elbow plus you would need some other modifications, just get the elbow

Go to blue oval get the intake elbow and throttle body for under 500 bux and be done with it the egr and throttle and cruise control linkage all bolt up too it, just get the elbow its easier and cheaper.
