for some reason im back on to the intake manifold business. my dad has a machine shop and he could port out the upper and lower for me. i know that the stock lower is really bad so is there any way that i can port the lower and get like a gt 40 or cobra upper? or can i just get cobra or a gt 40 manifold and port them out that way. also can i also port the runners a pair of stock heads and find some gains? this would really help my H/C/I money problems. i dont know why i just thought of this. is it a good idea?

yes you can port a cobra or gt-40 intake and pick up some gains. yes you can port stock heads and pick up some. No you can not put a Cobra or Gt-40 upper on a stock 5.0 lower.
