Default NEED HELP!!!!!

i have a 91 mustang gt it has a brand new battery and alternator is good. i drove it one day the next morning it started fine but when i came out from work it was dead. got a jump ran fine got home and as soon as i shut it off it was dead again. ive invested 13,000 in this car and im so frustrated. new battery cables, new battery, alternator is fine what is the deal? please bear with me i understand the workings or the car very well but may not understand everything afterall i am a woman lol...... please help.

if it will drive fine but after you shut it off will not crank back up..you should have the battery tested.....you say it is new.. what does that mean?? 2 months old 1 week old 6 month old?? it may have a shorted cell......if it goes dead overnight you may have a parasitic drain on the system..and to verify that you need a multimeter

i had it checked last week said it was fine since then ive been told to check maybe a ground problem or the voltage regulator. the battery had maybe been in the car 3 months.

What condition are the battery cables in? Any corrosion on the ends or sharp kinks in the wires anywhere?

they are band new police interceptor wires got them about 2 weeks ago

i may be wrong but i know sometimes on hmmwv's if they do that you can hold a meter to the starter and watch the volts drop. that might be somthing to check. and before anyone says anything i know a hmmwv isnt a mustang
