I love how people claim that an aluminum driveshaft makes their car rev faster.
The driveshaft weight, even if it was cast iron will have no difference on throttle response in neutral.

As for reving faster. Maybe in 5th gear with the drivewheels off the ground.

Duuurrrr of course nothing in the driveline is going to affect rev speed in neutral.... except for a lighter flywheel/flexplate

If u know anything about physics you would understand that the car will rev faster with less mass spinning... thats when its in any gear.... its just not enough of an increase to notice..... probably somthin silly like an extra 3 rpms/sec.

if you knew anything at all.. you would realize that an aluminum driveshaft will give you NOTHING in the quarter mile... therefor, its useless until a stronger driveshaft is needed

What all of you fail to realize is that although the aluminum driveshaft is lighter, its also bigger. The stock driveshaft is just as easy to spin because inertia will tend to cause the aluminum driveshaft to have more drag due to its larger size

talk about knowing physics.... because obviously you dont!
