Just find a socket or some attachment that will fit the shaft and hook it up to your drill and spin it.

It just lets you work the oil pump before starting the engine in order to prime it (get oil through out the engine), it's to prevent dry first start ups and the damage they can cause.

I picked up a junk 5.0 distributor that was utterly worthless and stripped it down to a shaft, presto one oil pump primer for zero dollars. Chucked it in my cordless and set it to reverse, when the pump starts pushing oil you will know it....
