Back in the day Ford used to have this fluid that you could add to the oil. Any seepage that would have the additive in it and when holding a black light at night around motor would show you your leaks. Did not mean to go CSI on you but that is what I did with my car some years back. After it is all fixed you and your girlfriend can enjoy the affects of large amounts of alcohol and black lighting.

You can go to napa today and get the dye your talking about. It's a good indicator. I've used it on cars before.
