i had a similar problem on my 93 one time, my heat and a/c would blow out of the defrost vents, but in my case it was just one of the little plastic vacuum lines, but from what i think you're saying, your tree has a plug in it so you dont have a hose coming from the tree to the little vacuum port(i guess you could call it, not sure what its called) on the firewall... look under the hood on the firewall, andto the right of theBAP sensor there isthe "vacuum port"where afew vaccum lines are connected. The far leftconnector on it should be labeled "S", and if your problem is in fact off of the tree, then there should be a hose going from the "S"connector to the biggestof the 3openings on your tree... wish i had pics to show you because i know this may be a little hard to understand, but its the best i can do without actually showing you... hope this helps

it runs from that tree across the firewall to a black round canister near the inlets for the heater core
