Stock fuel pump

RE: Stock fuel pump
I was looking on the web and was told to multiply my flywheel HP by .38 to get the fuel pump size I need. I defenently know my car should be around 300hp, so my pump is lacking if it can only handle 250hp. I know its not my cam even though it is stock.

The timing could be off a little because I did it by ear

the stock fuel system (if it is working properly) will support well over 300 hp, 325 for sure maybe closer to 350

RE: Stock fuel pump
those 185 afr heads flow alot more air in there and you have bigger maf bigger TB im thinking you need a tuner or tune
get the 255 pumpbut I dont think thats your problem
I think you just have way more air than gas going into your motor with that stock maf setting and no tune
just my opinion....

Once I get over 4,000 rpms it feels like i'm running out of fuel and then its power goes flat.
I set my timing by ear.

Ill give you a hint, I set my timing by EAR, when I checked it, spout out gun on one, I was at 0*.
My car ran fine at that until I got to 4000 rpms and it seems like I lost fuel.
Set your timing to 14-16*, and go from there.
