afr 165's or 185's?

AFR says you need to notch your pistons for the 185s, either way you won't be disappointed.

You can get camshafts ground to clear with ease on the AFR 185cc heads. It is just not ideal for performance.

Either way, as Onyx said, you cannot lose with those heads or similar.

I dont see why alot of people are afraid to notch the pistons.

Its easy, its fun, and you can UNLIMIT your potential, to make good numbers with a great set of cylinder heads and a healthy cam.

Be carefull, certain cams are not vacumm happy and you can loose your brakes at low speeds
