Directionals on with Headlights??? Mystery Wire
Flasher / Directional Indicators On with Headlights?!?!
I recently cleaned up my engine bay Paint, rewire, & organize). In order to do this all was temp removed from any/all flat surface areas within the engine bay. Most of the clean up was WIRING.
All went together well, and most checks out fine.
I have Two (2) odd scenario's that I am trying to correct and was trying to see if anyone knows of a fix.

1st:
When the car is off & key is out of ignition, when I turn on my headlights.......the Hazard lights indicator (Both Directional Indicators) stay on solid green?????? Inside only
NOTE: Hazards work fine/normally upon pressing the "Hazards Button." Inside & out.

2nd:
I have one mystery wire....I think it's a ground but not sure. It's actually two wires, both black and taped together, located near the starter solenoid/ignition coil area at the fender well. I unwrapped the tape and it revealed what appears to be a fusible link on one of them, this is an 16 gauge wire. The other was an 18 gauge wire. I'm pretty sure that these two wires were originally connected to each other......but don't know where they ulimately connected to???

RE: Directionals on with Headlights??? Mystery Wire
You have a Ground that is not attached which would cause your headlight/turn signal harness to not be grounded out all the way. Take those wires and FIRST get a test light and see if they have juice in them. If they do not, then ground those wires to your chassis and that should solve the problem!

scratch all surfaces and reattach grounds for good connections..if that doesn't help a shorted socket or bulb in one of the turn signal bulb sockets cound cause a prob as such..had that happen on a trans am to me before

RE: Directionals on with Headlights??? Mystery Wire
speaking of wiring issues I had a guy up the road who wanted me to help him with his wiring his headlights were backwards dim was bright and bright was dim so after helping him trace wires for an hour or so I happened to look at his bulb and he had the wrong headlight bulbs in he had the 9007 instead of the 9004 so before you go chasing wires dont assume the person before you installed the correct bulb.
