Default ac delete

i have had an ac delete kit from ford racing for almost a year but havent installed it, i was replacing my alternator the other day hoping to fix a problem (which it didnt) and noticed the belt diagram shows that you can just bypass it with a shorter belt, so is it necessary to use the delete kit or can i just bypass it and rip out the old ac condensor,
i ask because i dont have directions for the ford racing delete kit and im pretty sure it requires me to move the p/s pump which just seems like more work then its worth considering how cold it is

yeah you can....i would do it right later on when it warms up though.

search on the direction sfor that kit, they never have them, but pretty easy, try to look at a car that was ac delete from the factory, thats what it does

why move the p/s pump though, works fine where it is, i dont know why you would bother moving it if you didnt have to,

why?? to have a balance effect!! when you remove the a/c compressor there is a gapping spot there and moving the p/s up in between the spot makes it look natural....plus it allows the tensioner to maintain the proper andle and load on the belt if retaining factory routing and look
