Very simple. . just grab the power rack and its tie rod ends, the steering shaft, P/S pump, pulley and bracket, and all the lines for a P/S car and put them on yours. Then run the appropiate belt and you are done.
You could have it done in a couple hours.

Judging by the pics his car has been converted. But yes, 87 GT's were standard with P/S. P/S delete was a difficult option and only dealer installed if memory serves.
Price - what rack do you have in your car now? If you look around you should be able to find someone to trade you as people want the manual rack setup. I am curious what is in your car now as I have a P/S sterring setup taking up space in my basement.

^^^most likely he is a soilder!! thumbs up to you for your service to the country!!.....but get the right brackets a pump and a rack and tie rods an alignment and hoses and you'll be good to go!!

Thanks for your efforts man. I waited 10 years before being able to gift myself a stang. Nice to hear stories like that. Listen to these guys espically "mjr46" they will lead you in the right direction.
