Ive got a 94 mustang gt... 5.0 HO and i ran a scan tool on it and it said my egr valve is stuck open and i was wondering is someone could tell me where to find it or how to fix it?!?!?!?!? it also said that my thermal air sensor is bad but thats because my air pump is not connected... the wires are singed... ive been told that this car should do about 140mph or more even but it seems to have nothing left around 110mph... i was wondering if all this was connected or if anyone could help?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

go to the passenger side of you stang. look at the throttle body and look to the left. you will see the egr valve. if you are gonna keep your egr valve on, just pull it off and use some brake clean or what not and clean it up and put it back on, prolly all carboned up.

kool man thanks a lot.... i've read in other forums that taking it off wont gain any hp... but i was wonderin what could be the problem with my stang?? the only thing the scan tool said was the thermal air sensor... and i know why it says that.... and the egr was stuck open... but one of my buds at school said that his friend had a gt that will run 140mph or so but idk why mine wont??? anyone???!?!??!??!?!!??!

gears are possible...when mine had 2.73s it had a higher topspeed than it does not with the 3.73s...but really...how often do u really drive 140...not often at least for me...just dont think stock suspension thats 14 years old is good for that type of speed...
