yup it works and you get a better set of heads out of the deal too gt40's. im in the middle of getting a 97 explorer from a kid in my school for 600 bucks just waiting on my tax return. but it will be nice since i getting the whole truck i get the 3.73's out of the rear for mine so everything all at once its gunna be nice

ya i thought all he did was unscrew it..but iirc he didnt realize it the first time n bought the wrong filter at first ..lol..whoknows...it worked great for him sothats all that matters

the explorer has a nifty water to oil cooler built in, im gonna see if i can keep it mounted in my 95 its not interferring with the chassis just gotta make sure the hose from the w/p to ther cooler will fit. but the explorer setup unbolts and then the threaded part unscrews witha large socket and the stock oil threaded adapter on the mustang comes off witha large allen key
