RE: just lost here
If you have AC/heat still on your car the lines control the vents and temp on the controls. Your brakes use vacuum. If you have an automatic trans a line runs to it. Your vac advance uses a line. That is pretty much the major vac lines needed. If it was EFI you would have alot more. You can use you aftermarket diz and coil with the still use the stock box. If you buy a haynes manual it has wiring schematics in the back you can look at to figure it all out.

RE: just lost here
The vac advance is on the from of the dizzy. It has a little nipple on a canister.
IF you have an AUTOMATIC you need a vac line that runs to the passenger side to the modualtor valve. Well at least on a c43 speed auto trans. If you have a AOD 4 speed (stock auto trans in 87 and up cars), I am not sure I havn't had to work with one of them. I forgot to clear that one up.
IF you have a 5 SPEED Standard you do NOT need a line for the trans.
Also if you have an emissions vehicle you need more vac lines that run that system but I can not help you there bc I don't have them.
As for the wires, the only ones you will want to get rid of is the main EFI harness which is probably already gone since it has a carb on it. I believe it comes in 2 pieces ( if not the it is just one complete harness that connects to the computer), one on the motor and the one that connects to it that runs done through the fire wall on the pasenger side to the computer in the kick panel on the inside of the car.
You need to get some pics of what you are working with so we can help you out!

PS: IF you have an auto tranny with overdrive = AOD there is no vac line to tranny so stop looking for it and if it's five speed none either

RE: just lost here
You need to go to a junk yard and find some connectors from an older car 86 and before and get the correct plugs. OR you can cut off those plugs and justget some male and female spade connectors and do it yourself. Seems like you figured out the trans part. For the 2 hard lines those are for the trans cooler. It is in the radiator on the driver side or you can do what I did and buy an aftermarket cooler for like 40 bucks.

RE: just lost here
Is the motor in the car?? or are you trying to fire it up on the ground briefly?? can't tell from pics..........the easiest way to do this is we creat a new harness which is simple and made even easier if you have the opposite ends that'll plug into the box and 1 into the dizzy??? rather than sort the spaggetti mess out cause it looks like the ends that plug into the box and dizzy may be in the car that the motor was pirated from ....do you have any reserve about rewiring it?? cause it'll be simple this way...also can you take a pic of the dizzy connector wire colors and the same with the box.. that way we wire it correct.. gauranteed if you follow my instruction it'll work.....can't tell you how many duraspark set ups I've wired by making my own harness and you don't need much wire and just a handful of terminal ends
