Default clutch is slippin i think?

ok i just did the aod to t5 swap. installed a firewall adjuster but i dont think i adjusted it right now after about 1000 miles i think the clutch is slippin. im driving in second gear and i smash the gas and the rps jump hight but car dosent go anywhere then it grabs and goes. could i have burnt the clutch already?.

you need to check adjustment on both ends down on the tranny and at firewall adjuster

I don't know how true this is, but I have been told if the rear main seal on the engine leaks and oil gets on the clutch disk it will slip until it burns off... But like I said I don't know how true that is.

About 18 years ago when i was 18 i thought my clutch was slipping. I got several people's opinion and they all said "yep your clutch is slipping". On a sunday i dropped the tranny and changed out the whole clutch assy. It still did the same thing. About four months later i was doing a tune up and decided to buy a gas filter. It was the friggin gas filter the whole time. But at least i had a new clutch

mine ^^^^ was from JEGS so it was equipped for a firewall adjuster and adjustable down on tranny end

It wont. I never said it did. What i was saying is that the fuel filter was clogged so bad it felt like my clutch was slipping. It had the same symptoms. I would press the foot feed, the rpms would rise but there would bedifference in speed.
