Default Bouncing speedo



How do you fox your speedo if it bounces&gt; wil buying a new one work or is there a way to repair it?</P>

Gotta buy a new one. You got a gear stripped in your speedometer cluster. I suppose you could repair it, but finding the right gear would be rather difficult. </P>


***edit*** Maybe it could be a stripped speedo gear on your cable in the tranny, check that first</P><edited><editID>mdvaldosta</editID><editDate>37904.5041319444</editDate></edited>

aww crap mine is doing the same thing, when im rolling at about 5-10 the speed whirls around and stops at about 25, so i have to replace the whole cluster? might as well get a 140mph speedo...

its prolly the gear on the tranny. mine was striped out and was doing the same

I say throw away the car and get a new one. The odometer or speedo gear is gonna cost at least 10k to replace.</P>
