Question about Cam hp

Question about Cam hp
I'm looking at a 95 GT 60k on engine, LT's, o/r h and catback, intake, e303 cam and some other goodies. About how much hp at the wheels or flywheel have people seen. Also, the guy doesn't know too much about the car so im wondering what other things need to be upgraded with a cam like the e303. Springs, RR's, pushrods? What kind of HP would i be looking at with full bolt-ons including intake, e303 and some heads? Just thinkin about some stuff. Thanks guys

RE: Question about Cam hp
How much HP with h/c/i ? That all depends on what you buy. The more hp the more money. Right now with the cam and the heads being stock your not doing much if anything at all as far as extra hp. And yes an aftermarket cam needs a aftermarket valvetrain to go along with it.

RE: Question about Cam hp
The car already has an e303 so i guess that mean the valvetrain was upgraded too? I was just wondering what kind of numbers it would make with bolt-ons, e303 and stock heads.

RE: Question about Cam hp
The 95 GT's were rated 215 hp at flywheel stock. You might have an added around 15-20 with your mods, maybe. I have seen many people upgrade cam without upgrading the springs, so you would have to check. The heads are going to hold you back no matter what other mods you have unless you go FI. With a descent set of heads to go along with your intake(manifold intake i assume) and cam you will liven the engine up.
