My driver's side door lock and windows aren't working.
I have a 94 gt and the drivers window won't go up or down on its own. I have tried searching, but don't come back with anything that will help. I can hear it spin but that is about it.

Same for the lock, it sounds as if it is just spinning. The passenger side works perfectly.

if you can hear the motor spin when working switch both ways the regulator is fubar!! and or something came loose in there...remove door panel and inspect it for prob!!

or your gear inside the motor could be in pices also,

Take the panel off and see if the cable is loose, if its tight then the window motor gear is stripped, its only plastic

i have the same prob on my 94 gt if i slightly pull it andh elp it it will go up..my locks work tho..i found the prob and it seems to be the gear thats on the motor isnt spinning i see it trying to but it grabs then slips so i guess its time to pull it out and replace it

In most ford cars they have three little plastic round pieces in the motor the break or wear out then you hear the mottor run but the window wont move up or down..when I bought my car both windows did this..

I went to the junkyard and pulled the motors out of a mark 7 and a v6 mustang then pulled the motors apart and used the little plastic pieces to put in mine the guy behind the counter just said take-em..cant beat free

If you dont have access to a junkyard they sell the plastic pieces at ford and on ebay..
as far as your door locks not working its probably your switch is wore out you need a new one.

its only 3 screws that hold the motor in funny it was bolted in with sheetmetal screws on mine but the v6 mustang had actual nuts and bolts holding it in.. I think broncos have the same design also.you cant use the motors out of the bronco but you can use the little plastic pieces out any ford motor that has them good luck
