Default which upgrade?

I have a 90 lx convertible. it is completly stock besides whats in my sig,and i was wondering what would be the first thing to do to the car to make it faster. thanks

Advance the timing change the rear end gears remove the air silencer and go with a cold air intake, and a catback exhaust with x-pipe. That is a good start.

I think mine is at 14 degrees. I got a mechanic who owns a fox to do it for me. Try 14 and see if it pings. If not you should be good.

Depends what you are looking for. Cheaper mods may include but are not limited to CAI, advanced timing, H-pipes, mufflers, short throw shifter, andall basic maintinence ( all fluid/filters, tune-up, etc.)

Some things can increase perforamcne and the fun factor all at once. Ex: exhaust work = power and sound.

Th ears you choose depend on what you plan to do with the car. If you do a lot of freeway driving you don't want to go too high 3:73 or 4:10's are good. You can usually get away with 14 degrees maybe more if you run preminum fuel.Just dont over do it Youshould be able tohear it if you go to far.

its actually a auto trans so i was thinkin a shift kit and shifter for that. it has an h pipe but i dont know if it is stock or not.
