I too would like to know how they perform. Im considering a set of 11.5-12 inch 555r's for my chevelle. Maybe even for the 5.0

Are they good for front wheels? Handling wise.

nitto 555 work very well as a 15 or 16 tire with some good sidewall meat. On 17's they don't work worth a crap but I still prefer them over any other tire.

No complaints here either. I've got about 5000 miles on mine and they're probably at 65% tread (great mileage for a street slick). They're pretty sticky! Way better than a normal street radial! I'd suggest them.

I love my pair, I just dumped the clutch at like 4 grand and busted a 1.999 with mine with pretty much no drag suspension mods, a guy i know runs 17"s on his Cobra and runs low 11's with them...

I had them And the only thing I can say is they last well past the other brands but in the performance side they arelittle behind. They have to well heated to stick and the sidewall is a bit stiff. I am running M/T's now and I love how well they hook but they will wear extremely quick if they are used on the highway extensively.

My buddy has them on his 04 GT and don't like them, he has to heat the living **** out of them to get them to stick decent. I on the other hand have the MT drag radial and love them.
