Default idle control....again Rough Idle

so after a while of the surging idle happening more and more often, i found a voltmeter laying around and checked it(TPS), after setting it to where it should be no more problems. great! anyways last night i put in new plugs(autolites) cap &rotor, and powermax lifetime spark plug wires thinking that would solve the rough idle. last night &today, same probelm. for about the past week it has been a lower idle (about 600rpm) so when slowly letting out the cluch it huffs and trys to stall just to try and move in first gear. You HAVE to give it a little gas to keep it from stalling when taking off (gas and clutch combo). it does not matter how slow you let the clutch out. now the strange thing is that if you tap the gas a little and let the rpms come back down it goes to about 800-900 rpms and stays there for about 3-4 seconds, then finally goes back down to 600ish. (this is without moving, Idle is still rough at 800). any help would be great, if you need any other information just ask!

Have you checked your base timing and if so, have you tried bumping it abit to see if it helps pick the idle up?

Is the car itself running worse like losing power? or is it just you idle?

runs fine, just rough idle, and it wants to fall on its face when i try to take off anymore without giving it gas and basicallyslipping the clutch.

Something I have started to learn is pull the codes. If your check engine light is on there is most likly a reson for it. now mine is always on because I no longer am running Egr ,smog and Ac but it still will help you out.
