Default altenator/starter questions....

Car wont start without a jump from 12 volts. Just clicks and doesnt nothing without juice, so i think it has to do with the alternator and sarter wiring because im puitting things back together currently and have mixed a few wires up.

I have two wires going to the battery that i am unaware of where there supposed to go. One wire comes from the altenator, and the other im not sure what it is to. Mabey the pics can help.

This first pic im lokoing at the wire with the big black harness on it, which is mabey a fuse or somesort? Im not sure. But if that isa fuse then im assuming this doesnt go to the negative battery cable and goes to the positive.

Now i just need to figure out if this wire goes to the pos. or neg.

Default RE: altenator/starter questions....

Have you had the battery tested? If it's ok get the car running and check how many volts are going to the battery it should be around 14 when running and 12 when it's not.
