WTF UPDATE on Idle/TPS sensor/butterfly idle screw HELP
okay, so after adjusting the idle up (remember it was having a problem at 600 rpm idle when going, it would stall or try to fall on its face when letting clutch out slowly without giving gas at same time) anways, i adjusted idle up by the hex screw on the butterfly, just under the TB. so, i got it working just right, 800-900rpms, okay, so then i check the tps sensor, 101.XXX - 103.XXX, too high, so i adjust that to .98 -.99, i start it up again, and crap! its back to 500-600 rpm and rough idle. , so i adjust the idle hex screw again to where its good, then shut off, start up and check it again, perfect, then tps sensor, too high AGAIN. wtf, its a never ending process. someone please help. i have the car right here in the shop, any suggestions ill go try it now. (and dont suggest something stupid like match in the gastank. lol thanks)

how about keep the meter on the TPS, ENGINE OFF KEY ON RUN.
Slowly open the throttle up by hand(car still off) to Wide open throttle, look for fluctations as you get to WOT and Back down to ilde, the voltage shall travel smooth and not jump around(smoothly low to high, then high to low).
A bad TPS is common.
But your real issue, may be as you tighten the TPS it will move slightly, and increase or decerease its voltage, so put a firm grip or tighten it at .95, then when your done it will say .98 or .99

no adjusting your tps higher won't change the a/f ratio. the computer zeros the tps out automatically i believe.
and you don't want your car running too lean. lean means hot, which could be bad news for your engine.
anyways.. have you checked for vacuum leaks everywhere? perhaps a vac line you might have knocked loose?

just a guess, but will the TPS matter if the voltage is higher? should run leaner correct? aka better fuel mileage?
