I'm not sure if you'd lose power, but you certainly wouldn't make much because the intake, exhuast, and heads all deprive the engine of oxygen.

if its possible the best way to do it all at once, but if you cant at least get a set path cause as your displacement changes so do the parts, 351 is a taler black and needs different headers, not all 302 heads wouldnt be the best choices for a bigger displacement engine like a 347 or 351(afr 165 vrs. 185for example), and the powerband of your cam would change what intake is going to suit you best

If you don't plan on swapping your heads and your intake anytime soon just advance your stock cam a few degrees. I added a TFS stage1 cam with an intake and every supporting modification under the sun and I noticed a gain in the butt dyno. If I were you I would just advance your stock cam and change your valve springs for something a little stiffer. You'll notice a few ponies.

your best bet is to buy a h/c/i kit from tf or holley or ford motorsports it wont lose power but wont gain either it will just change where it makes the power. the heads and intake are VERY restrictive. do some bbk lt's matching h-pipe and your choice of catback they all perform the same just what sound you want borla is my fav but they are very expensive. but start exhaust then gears, then drop in k&n and mass air then tb. that is a good start.
