Default C Clip Eliminators and Disk Brakes

Going to beef up the rear end in our 8.8 and also change over to 5 lug axles. Has anybody every ran C Clip Eliminators and Disk Brakes on the rear. I know we could run Stange, Areospace, or Wilwood, but we would like to stay away from dropping $600 for that.

Thanks

Heck in Summit the C-Clip Eliminators are $151 just for the Eliminators. I have a buddy of mine that I race with that is sponsered my Moser and these are the prices that he can get me the complete package for.

Spool and Axle Package w/c-clip eliminators $630
4.56 or 4.88 (pro steet only, pro n/a) $180
Set up kit for 8.8 $100
Total Parts Only: $910.00

He said he would do it for $900 shipped to my door. That's a heck of a price if you can get them for $139.

^^^^^^^^Your right I don't......c-clip eliminators or often reccommended in high hp applications....most of the people including me really have no need for them as our cars are mainly street strip vehicles...but in the case of the OP...here who may be intending his car to be a full on race car....they'd be reccommended....I've seen 500 +hp stangs without them have no issues as a correctly built 8.8 is tough but when getting into the full race car seen all loose ends need to be tied up as such
