hey, i dont like my grey interior. I am just wondering if anyone here has painted their interior as i am eerie about doing it.

wouldnt paint scratch off the plastic interior very easy after it is done?

what is the process of properly doing this?

what is a normal cost for buying black interior?

black int. are getting hard to come by..you might look at ebay...painting the panels and all plastic is a fair amt. of work as everything should be remove to paint. the paint is not to expensive and is very durable... as far as seat you DON'T want to paint or dye them

well its not so much the time/effort it takes to dye them, because even if i did find a black interior it will still take the same amount of time to take everything out, etc.

however, i am more concerned about if the dye is acceptable in using in the interior part of my stang. I dont want it to look good for a couple months and then wear off/scratch off, etc

Seats are horrible to dye or paint, your dash and door panel etc arent, mainly because you don't sit on your dash many times a day. Just be sure you get the paint thats made for painting interior parts, it is more flexable and won't peel as long as you properly clean the parts prior to painting.

well that and as long as you dont have your car out in the sun lol. Because then the heat would fad your paint a hell of alot quicker bt yea i helped pint someones int. and it came out great. really the grey seats will go ok with black int. but truely your should o to a junkyard or somehting and try and find you a pair of balck seat quicker and alot less of a hassle that way
