ahah ok projectresto..i may have to resort to that but i am not sure, it is my dream car, the best color ever made on this thing, everythign else works mint and is original, just this damn motor..lol ok so distributor,intake, timing cover, and waterpump...is the distributor hard to put on? not very technically inclined, im gonna attempt to do this on my own

word of advice......I'd reccommend you purchase a repair manual from your local parts store to help aid with your installation

Make sure that it is the 5.0 HO motor. Friend of mine bought a 5.0 motor out of a Lincoln from those same years and it had a different fire order. Funny thing, he pulled the heads and one piston had valve reliefs the other 7 had none?!
