KBs for 5.0s are not as loud as they are on 4.6s. Keep in mind that KB is probably pushing around 20psi also, your stock 5.0 block won't handle anything close to that. Most KBs on 5.0s are noticable but nothing like that Cobra.

I have a custom turbo system on my 5.0, with a stock block im comfortably runnin 8 psi for everyday. and around 12 psi for havin fun and showin ricers a thing or two, but, only ONCE IN A WHILE though.and youll be fine

depending on tune you can run 10-12psi safely. there are KBs on ebay all the time, just look every few days. New from KB they are rather pricey.
