how much horsepower wouldi gain or what are the effects if i switch to that

If the mustang motor wise is stock you would be hurting it more than helping. Just get w/e mass air sensor you want but with the sample tube for the injectors that are on the car.

no gains will be seen on a stock motor, injectors dont add hp, they just support it.

If he doesn't already have the larger C&L meter, there should be a small increase in air flow.
