My return hose never broke.......it was my pressure hose that kept blowing off. I replaced the hose 3 times, then finally replaced the whole pump.......

In 2 weeks, no problems.....and yes, I am knocking on some wood

ive broken of that little plastic fitting like 3 times. its not worth trying to repair it just buy the new pump its easier that way. as for the whole pulley puller you can rent it at discount auto parts its not worth trying to do the job without it

just go into ur mechanics shop like i do - he calls me a "needy little bitch" - and they'll take it off and install it for me... sometimes i slide him a 5 or 10 dollar bill... sometimes I just tell him to shave my nuts..

My mechanics garage is attatched to my house. The only other person who works on my car is my brother and lives back in Indiana, about 1200 miles away. I am not only my own mechanic but I also have a buddies Honda K20 motor sitting on an engine stand.

A pulley install tool came with my Remanufactured pump, I used a Universal install tool which was too long to get a socket behind it...took way too long. I suggest you get the right pulley puller that is shorter in length so you can fit a rachet behind it and have it off in minutes. Do not go to Checker/Advance or Auto Zone. They tried to give me wrong tool and have heard stories of people getting the wrong puller like 3 times in a row. I saw some good ones at napa when I picked up pump.

less heartaches band money by bringing the part in to your mechanic who has the tool and mostly not have to pay anything...
