Default Poor Idle

Hey guys, I was wonering if i could get some help. I have an 89 gt, and when you first start it up, it idles low (like 600-700 rpm) then after you drive for just one or two minutes, the idle will go back up to about 950(which from i understand is in the normal range)Any ideas? Thanks

Did you clean it with brake cleaner or something else. If you used carb cleaner that will leave a residue and that may be whats causing your high idle</P>
