Default rear main seal

OK, changed my rear main seal during my AOD to T5. Keep in mind it was my first time, well I had a hell of time getting the old one out. I tried the screw trick and feel like this put a scratch in the crank. I went ahead and put the new seal in, got everything back to together and yes it’s leaking.

Now my question is how doI fix my f***’up? What are my options here?

alot of time its not the seal per se'. It will leak where the main cap meets the block, this area needs some rtv.

If you nicked the crank you may need a seal saver.

all you had to do was tap a small screwdriver between the cap and seal and pry out.....I't has never taken me more than 30 sec to pop one out.. but what's done is done... they make seal'crank repair sleeves like pjc says but verify where the leak is first.. your suppose to lightly coat the seal lip with grease before tapping new one into place as to not roll the lip of the seal creating an incorrect install and leak
