I have finally got the cash set aside to start to work on my 85 fox. I have a general idea of what needs to be doneto the car.

I do know that it is a stock car with a 302 CFI, but I dont know if the motor is a windsor or clevland. I am trying to look online but I havent found exaclty what i am looking for if anyone here could help me it would be much appreciated, Thank You.

it's a 302 from the windsor family....clevlands were made in the 70's are are 351 motors with the boss 302 partially pertaining to a clevland family sinve it was equipped with clevland style heads and ditch the cfi

I wanted to get rida the CFI eiether way, but I am thinking since I have the auto would it be easier to go 4bbl Carb or the EFI?

Though as of now in the car is the AOD is it possible to have a carb and keep the auto tranny?

Yes, you just need to get a TV cable designed for a carb. Places like Lokar make them.
