Default AOD questions!

ok so i was wondering if anyone know how much the b&m hammer console cost and what shift kit should i get i'm completly oblivious to the automatic world so please assist me thanks

i have an b&m hammer shifter brand new in box ..summit sells it for 225 npw i will part it out for 175

there is really no need for a hammer shifter unless your getting a manual valve body

Personally I would go with a Baumann Electronics shift kit, Trans-go would be my second choice.

Ive got the hammer console shifter, and I wouldnt recommend it. It looks cool, but it has way too much throw. Theres more arm action then wrist action like with a typical rachet shifter.

shawnk007 i totally agree with you, dont get a b&m hammer, i got mine for looks in my 86 iroc and i was hoping id get some auto control and easier shifting when i raced it, but damn, my arm hurt fter a few slaps, get a trans go or a manula valve body if you really want to get the most control out of ur aod..

well i've drove a stick for about since i was about 13-14 so arm movement isn't a issue is the trans go hard to install ?
