Driveshaft Hitting Undercarriage
Any idea's why my driveshaft is rubbbing my undercarriage? I've changed the tranny mount, I'm going to change the motor mounts next. I'm just wondering if anyone else has seen this?
Thanks in advance.

RE: Driveshaft Hitting Undercarriage
I'm looking through google, and I guess there is a recall on 94-98 mustangs because it rubs up agains my e-brake cable and undercarriage. I'm trying to figure out what I need to do to fix the problem. Do I call ford, or can i fix it myself?

RE: Driveshaft Hitting Undercarriage
I had this problem on my 91 after I put in my aluminum driveshaft.
turns out the bushings in the top of the rear diff were rotted out badly, and was causing the pinion to rotate up hitting the driveshaft on the trans tunel.

RE: Driveshaft Hitting Undercarriage
Ive seen the motor mounts old and cracked, allow the engine/tranny to be at a bad tilt and make that happen on the SN body style.
On the fox, ive seen bad U-Joints and Upper Control Arm Bushings be the cause.
