Default Lowering the stang, cut springs bad idea?

So, idealy I want to lower the front 3 inches and the back 2 inches, but i think this may be too excessive, and I was wondering if I could just cut the springs, i'm not totally doing this all for performance I just want a lower stance. anyone done this before? should i cut them or just buy some springs?

Just buy the springs. You dont want to change the rate of the springs by chopping them.

2. Get offset rack bushings, then an alignment, so you are not pulling left and right

way too much bro. some people say cutting them is fine, some say buy new spring. 1 would say a 1.5 inch drop will look good enough without messing with performance.

Eibach Sportlines will give you a couple of inches....and you will still be able to drive it

with a 3inch drop you will be plastering your bumper together with zip ties in no time and smashing important things off the ground lol
