Default No turnsignals

My friend has a 91 GT hatch and the turnsignals don't work. We checked the fuses and none are blown. We checked the flasher relay and it was fine. We switched out the actual turnsignal switch and still nothing whatdo we try next?

you know there are two flasher relays right?? one for the hazard and one for the turn signal.. I believe the one for the turn signal is mounted on the rail that runs behind the glove box off to the left

.... im having the some problem also, it used it work intermittently, and it would onyl work when the rear defroster would turn on, rear defroster was on the signal would work and reverse lights....

when 1 of them didn't work none of the worked, when 1 of them worked all of them worked

i still have hazards though they worked perfectly...

now its no longer intermittent, they plain and simple do not work... all 3 of them...

did you guys use your hazard switch lately? I had the same problems with mine after I used my hazzards. the switch on the top of the column tends to collect alot of dust, and when you push it in it will make the contact dirty enough to not make a connection. The turn signals have to have a connection all the way through the circuit or it will not work, or work intermittenly(sometimes looks like a burned bulb where it stays on). Push the button in and out a dozen times and it will clean itself out, and probably fix yer problems. IT is certainly the easiest way to start rather then throwing parts at it.

And if it does fix it let us know, I have wondered if I was the only one.

Thanks for the input guys I'll check tomorrow. We checked the relay on the driver side fuse box. Is this a hazard light relay then?Anyway the hazards`did work. And you say this other relay is in the glove box area to the left correct?
