runs smooth and idles steady but when gas is applied, the motor begins to bog and almost dies.

any idea's?

its getting fuel.. maybe too much.

my friend mentioned possible vaccum leak? but it idles good?

im lost here........

does it have the stock cats???

check the timing...

check the EGR

run a koeo/koer test....try cleaning maf if you haven't and check tps but koeo/koer test should catch that if there is a open

sounds like a fuel line is pinched, or the fuel filter is clogged.
or the fuel pump went bad.

yes it has codes and yes it has stock cats (4 of them)

smog pump was unhooked when i got car.. but still belt driven.

23 - TP sensor out of self-test range
63 - TP circuit below minimum voltage
67 - Neutral/drive switch open or A/C on
67 - Clutch switch circuit failure
67 - MLP sensor out of range or A/C on (E4OD)
81 - Air management 2 circuit failure

Once past 2k rpm's, CEL goes away and car rips hard...

Gunna slap my 75mm maf and 65mm throttle body on tomorrow.
