hey guys, what would be some symptoms of a SPOUT connector going bad or that already has gone bad...thanks

if the spout had a open circuit then the ecm would have control of timing advance,,, what's your prob you are having....^^^not likely your prob so explain please

well lets see when i give it full throttle and it gets up into the high rpms like 5000 ans 6000 it seems like it almost misses...its very hard to pinpoint but i know its not at the same rpm all the time, and its runnig rich as hell[:@]...aggravating stuff...lol

if it has a misfire...at high rpm's.. how are tune up components..cap, rotor , wires??? possible bad coil, I'd also check the timing..and or balancer to make sure it has not spun a little flacilitating an incorrect timing..if timing has been moved after a balancer spun a little...just some ideas without seeing it to check...if it's a misfire the best thing to narrow it down would be use a portable occiliscope to probe the secondary ign pattern to locate miss and you could also see firing kv

the dizzy is fairly newer out of a 93 (im not sayin its not bad) but i changed cap, rotor, plugs, wires, me and my buddy bumped time to 12* or 14* its been about a year...lol ill prolly check the timing and balencertomorrow...thanks for all your help man, you really know you sh*t...lol
