oh yeah, and "balanced" from SCAT just means they are close. they weigh all the rods and bunch them in sets that are close. they are not all exact from the factory

absolutely, unless it specifically states the rotating has been balanced when you buy it, it will vibrate your teeth loose and knock the main bearings right out of it. Scat, Eagle, anybodys stroker kit needs to be balanced, the crank and rod manufacturers dont know what pistons will be used. There is no way around it. I just balanced a 347 last night, needed 150 grams taken out of the back counterweight and 77 from the front counterweight.
