one thing i learned on the net is that not many people will actually say, "yes I recomend it." What stangguy said is right though, dont do a "temporary cam swap" That will only make more work for you and a waste of 50 dollars. The x cam can definately make good power is it the best cam no way. But yea doing 2 cam swaps for nothing really makes no sense. jmo
good luck

It depends on your overall goal....you have a mild set up and if you cool with it then I wouldnt swap out my B-Cam for X-Cam....your B is good enough and I like I said Cam swaps are a pain....and for a few more horse and lumpier idle I'd be over it....but if you goal is to build something bigger and better then start putting a motor together on the side...then swap it when your done....oh and if your doing this forget the X cam....go custom as Adder stated....just do a 100 shot dry on your current set up....and be over it...now thats worth installing HAHA

yeah adder, i got my trickflow 1 new $75, these kids get buy camshafts, but when they see what they have to do to put em in, they are quickly hit with a sick dose of reality.

Hell, ive been putting motors and trannies in by myself lately, nothing like learning the things that once intimidated you.

It sounds like your tying to get cheap power. but thats the wrong way to do it, the letter cams are so outdated!Just spend the money an get good cam, you will be happy with the results, with what you named that cam will be the weakest link in you set up .
