Default T5 question

is a V6 t5 out of a 94-95 mustang, as strong as a 94-95 v8?

Default RE: T5 question

not sure of the torque rating but i know the 94-95 t5s are an oddball transmission they have an input shaft that is 1inch longer than the standard 87-93 dont know if the v6 is also? if the torque rating is different its probably something like 240ft lbs instead of 300

a lot of fox guys run 4banger tranny with no problems they are rated less but hold up very well the main thing that kills a t5 is overextending shifts and a good aftermarket shifter will help in that area
